A masterplan of high quality residential and mixed-use schemes across six sites for the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust and Charitable Fund. The sites occupy some of the capital’s most desirable addresses including Kings Road, Fulham Road and Sydney Street. The sale of the property portfolio is to fund a new specialist heart and lung facility on a single site. Therefore the ultimate objective was to maximise the residual value from this portfolio of buildings.

Our design approach includes an in-depth analysis of the sensitive context and an investigation of the existing buildings, their fabric and how they interface with the general townscape. The intention is to establish and utilise a set of design parameters to rationally represent the existing buildings and facilitate the creation of appropriate massing and aesthetics going forward.
