Affordable new build hotel in the heart of the Spanish capital

Located on Mendez Alvaro, one of Madrid’s busiest avenues, is easyHotel’s second Spanish hotel, promoted by Continuum Hotel Management under a franchise agreement with easyHotel.

This nine storey new build hotel with 230 keys provides 500 sqm of retail space and 3,800 sqm of parking across an additional four storeys below ground.

Our team provided project management services for the realisation and execution stages of the project, with the design by Morph Architects.

easyHotel is a fast-growing, international, ecologically responsible hotel chain focusing on the “affordable” segment. They aspire to be the leader in low-cost, low-carbon hotels across Europe and the UK. Their hotels typically enjoy ‘high occupancy levels and margins and efficient use of space, adapted to mixed-use projects, flexible brand standards and a resilient business model.’

With an energy performance rating of ‘A’ (consuming 65kWh/m2/year and emitting 11kg CO2/m2/year), the building has been designed to have reduced operational energy whilst also producing energy through the use of photovoltaic panels. In this case, 35,181kW/h per year are produced from the installed PVs.

The hotel opened to the public in late 2022 and boasts 24/7 reception service and facilities.

The project team included Amenabar (contractor), Gesvalt (project monitoring), Morph Architects (design architects) and Inmodeco (FF&E fitout).
