Grosvenor Crescent

Residential, Prime Residential

A terrace of eight Grade II listed houses off Belgrave Square is returned to residential use, with 15 magnificent prime apartments. This large and complex design and construction project has created lateral and triplex units and three impressive double height penthouses. The early 19th century houses were previously the office headquarters of the Red Cross.

The key to the success of the scheme is the restoration of the principal historic elements of the houses, the Regency architecture provides dramatically high ceilings. Apartments are planned so that the original hierarchy and order of the important rooms at ground and first floors remained intact with each of the portico entrances used along with the original staircases. Floor area was omitted in other areas to create generous double height spaces.

Behind the main listed terrace is a substantial basement construction providing parking, plant rooms and a private pool.
