Sited above four retail units on a busy junction between the Strand and Waterloo bridge, the four storey building presented difficult access and party wall issues with only one point of entry on the ground floor. Internal layouts and services were adapted to the needs of a student residence with an emphasis on durability and low maintenance with a homely feel.
