BCO Award win for our PDP London studio

We are delighted that our own London studio space has won a BCO Award in the ‘Projects up to 1500sqm’ category. The vision of the in-house design team was to create an inventive and collaborative environment, filled with light that staff enjoy being in. It is also a classic example of how good design can positively influence a business culture, and radically improve efficiency and ways of working.

From the start of the project we completely reviewed the way our business works and the role of the workspace in supporting this. In consultation with staff it was clear that flexible working was important so this led to our move and transformation of the smaller space at Eccleston Yards which works with our various site offices. It was an interesting process as client and architect. As it transpires, we were fortunate because when lockdown began earlier this year we were already well placed to easily move to supporting the 100% home working that was needed.

“The hugely positive impact that good office design has had on the culture and ethos of our business has been unbelievable. From a dark and uninviting space, we have managed to create a bright and sophisticated office which has become the creative hub of our business, and a place our staff are proud to call their own. We are honoured to receive a BCO Award and thank the whole team involved in this highly collaborative process.”
