As well as thinking about ‘What Next’, we take a look at 2020, to what we have learned about ourselves from the pandemic. We believe that our supportive and flexible working culture has certainly helped us through. When it comes to design we also consider flexibility as well as adaptability, an approach which is particularly important now as for many people home is a place for living, working and learning. We also think about unseen details like thermal efficiency which can make for real comfort and externally, heritage and local context guide us.

Three of our large luxury developments in London are complete or nearing completion, they all preserve local heritage in different ways; Regent’s Crescent is a grand regency street rebuilt, Queen Anne’s Gate retains its original external aesthetic whereas the townhouses at Chelsea Barracks provide future living with a nod to London’s Georgian past. Over in Hong Kong we have provided luxury interiors at Blue Pool Road and spacious and flexible apartments with panoramic views at Duke’s Place.

Throughout 2021 we will continue to put people at the heart of what we do, both in our work and in the way we work. We look forward to the completion of our later living project at Auriens Chelsea and the continued progression on site of Cambridge House Hotel.
