Cian is passionate about how good design can add value through active engagement with real world constraints and by turning them into opportunity. This is supported by studies in both architecture and property finance and more than a decade of experience with a successful track record of delivering projects from concept to completion.
Aligned to this is his interest in how shifting trends in the built environment market inform and galvanise creative ideas and solutions. With experience in the reuse of existing building stock, Cian believes it is possible to creatively adapt and repurpose spaces and places to make them relevant for future use for decades to come.
Project experience includes the multi-use redevelopment of the House of Fraser store on Oxford Street, this Art Deco icon is in the design phase with a bold concept to secure its future. His other mixed-use development experience includes an office refurbishment scheme for a warehouse on Derry Street and an office to residential conversion of a former printworks. In residential Cian has designed and delivered One Queen Annes Gate, a new build with retained facades over 12 city blocks in St James’s. As well as high-end homes, this complex scheme includes affordable apartments.
