Kin Kay has both technical architecture skills and an understanding of property economics and finance. Within the practice, he takes a pivotal role on early-stage design development with a passion for bridging design value and real estate development principals. During the construction phase, he champions design quality, regulatory framework and site monitoring processes. He believes in a collaborative approach through learning from a diverse range of stakeholder groups throughout project lifecycles.

With previous project experience across planning and construction delivery in the high end residential, education, civic and masterplanning sectors, Kin Kay is currently working on the refurbishment and adaptation for the offices at Eighty Strand (Shell Mex House). He has previously been part of the urban design team investigating the value of a range of sites for the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust to fund new specialist facilities.

His residential project experience includes the role of site architect monitoring quality and delivery on Regent’s Crescent, this complex project involved the rebuilding of a Grade I listed, John Nash facade, behind which sits a contemporary apartment building.

Tell us about a quirky hobby you have?
