Philip Willis

Philip has recently joined Studio PDP and is an invaluable team member with extensive experience in construction health and safety with a focus on design. As a health and safety consultant, he provides CDM Principal Designer, Principal Designer’s Advisor and Client CDM Advisor services. He is also on hand across the practice, providing CPD sessions and advice on most projects to a greater or lesser degree as required by the appointment and provides advocacy for the business case for health and safety.

As health and safety advisor, Philip has responsibility for the development of policy, statement and operating procedures under HSWA and MHSWR, for risk assessment and documentation, and for internal advice to project teams. He also provides competency documentation for clients to PAS 91 and SSIP standards.

With project experience that spans many sectors and building types, Philip is currently working on Cambridge House Hotel. This complex project weaves the restoration of a Grade I listed Georgian building with other listed buildings and complementary new build elements. Philip’s other projects include the Queens Head public house, interior fit out of a private house and the Grade II listed, Grosvenor Gardens House which will become residences again with ground floor retail space.
