The Architects' Mental Wellbeing Forum

We are incredibly proud to be part of the Architects’ Mental Wellbeing Forum which was set up earlier in the year by Ben Channon of Assael Architecture in response to alarming stories and statistics relating to mental health issues in the studying and practicing of architecture.

The Forum comprises representatives from leading practices, the RIBA and the Architects’ Benevolent Society, and one of the first things the Forum will be producing is a ‘Toolkit for Practices’, which aims to provide guidance for architects and employers on how to promote healthy mental wellbeing within the workplace

The Forum's first newsletter has just been released, and you can download it from the link on the right, or via the Architects' Benevolent Society.

We want to raise awareness, provide advice and start a dialogue about mental health in the profession, so please do get involved in the conversation on the Forum's social media channels, and watch this space for updates.
