Marq Omotesando One picks up gold at MIPIM Asia Awards 2022
Our Hong Kong Studio’s project in the heart of Tokyo for client BPE Asia, was awarded ‘gold’ in the ‘Best residential development’ category at the recent MIPIM Asia awards. A wonderful way to round out the year!
The team was appointed to design an exclusive residential development in the prestigious Jingumae area of Tokyo, just a moment away from Omotesando - an area well known for a large number of international fashion flagship stores and popular restaurants. A key challenge was developing the building envelope and facade design working with the difficult constraints of the site.
The development consists of 14 apartments, all of them over 250sqm, including a whole floor penthouse with a dedicated entrance lobby and a lift. There is also a roof top terrace with a pool and an incredible open sky view of Tokyo.
