As an experienced architect and practice lead, Mel brings both knowledge and empathy to her role as partner. With extensive experience across the residential, workplace and retail sectors, she has designed and led both new build and refurbishment projects from feasibility to completion.

Key workplace and mixed-use projects include Sixty Moorgate which creates modern office space in a heritage setting and the complex rebuild of 15 Sloane Square which sits around the District Line tunnel. In the residential sector Mel has designed and delivered four contemporary blocks for phase 1 of the Lillie Square development and the landmark Wapping Lane which includes five new buildings, landscaping and public realm.

Mel is also a passionate advocate of learning and mentoring and leads the HR function in the practice. In her quest to bring awareness and opportunity to underrepresented groups and to encourage a broader new generation of architects, Mel is involved in a number of initiatives.
